What it does
A Bitfocus Companion connection module for Analog Way LivePremier, driven by Mynah command syntax: one action takes any Mynah command, so a button says what it does in words — “Recall Screen 1 Memory 5”, “Take Screen 1 Thru 4” — rather than hiding behind a numeric opcode. There are discrete actions too, for people who would rather pick from dropdowns.
It does not talk to the Mynah web tool. It is an independent client of the switcher — it bundles the same parser and compiler and opens its own Web RCS connection — so neither needs the other running. Mynah also ships an Elgato Stream Deck plugin; this module supersedes it for anyone already running Companion, since Companion claims the Stream Deck itself and the two cannot both own the hardware.

- A preset library of well over a hundred ready-made buttons — takes per screen and across screens, screen, master and layer memory recalls, stores in a deliberately different colour, and indicators for the screens selected in the vendor's own Web RCS
- A command builder on the surface: slot keys that relabel themselves as a command is built by pressing keys, and twenty-four macro slots for the commands it parks
- Status feedbacks for the connection and the last command's result
- The command planner is the same code as Mynah's, so what a button sends is what the command line would send
Where it stands
Released at v1.1.0, and in field testing. Driven end to end inside Companion 5.0.1 against the AW LivePremier simulator: the module loads and initialises cleanly, its presets populate, buttons were pressed on a real grid, the slot keys relabel themselves at every step, and the simulator's own socket showed the golden paths arriving — a preset recall onto preview and a take — built by pressing keys. The command planner is verified against real hardware: it is the same code as Mynah's, and on 9 September 2026 every path that grammar emits was issued at a physical Aquilon C on firmware 6.2.73 and answered, memory paths and audio matrix alike. What has not happened is the join: no button has been pressed against a real device, and none against a physical Stream Deck — everything above ran either in Companion against a simulator, or at hardware through a separate test harness.
